What A Negotiation Workshop Costs.

A one day workshop for up to twelve people starts at $7,500. What moves that number, what the fee covers, and what you are not being charged for.

The Number

A Day Starts At $7,500.

For up to twelve people, on site, built around what your team actually negotiates. That figure covers the design work, the day and what you keep afterwards. The four things below are what move it.

How Many People Are In The Room.

A day is built for a group rather than sold per seat, so the price moves in steps rather than per head. Up to twelve is the standard shape. Beyond about sixteen the room stops working the way it should and we would rather run two days than crowd one.

How Much Is Built From Scratch.

Simulations are written around what your team actually negotiates, which takes time before the day. A team working one familiar category needs less build than a group spanning four business units with nothing in common.

Whether Anything Follows It.

Most engagements are the day itself. Some add a session a few weeks later against live deals, once people have tried it for real and discovered what they could not make work.

Where It Happens.

Chicago and the surrounding Midwest carry no travel cost. Further out, travel is billed at cost and shown as a separate line rather than folded into the fee.

What It Covers

What The Fee Includes.

The Design Work.

Scoping conversations, the scenarios, the materials and the brief for your side. There is no discovery phase billed separately before the work starts.

The Day Itself.

A full day on site with the person who designed it. Nobody else is sent.

Everything Written Down.

You keep the scenarios, the materials and the method, written in your language rather than ours, so the team can run a version of it again without us.

One Follow-Up Conversation.

A call a few weeks later to hear what held and what did not. It is part of the engagement rather than the start of a retainer.

What It Does Not Cover

What You Are Not Buying.

Training is often priced in ways that keep costing money after the room empties. None of the following applies here.

A Per-Seat Licence.

Nothing is priced per head and nothing expires. Adding two people to the room on the morning does not change the invoice.

Materials Or Workbooks.

They are part of the design work. There is no separate line for printing.

A Certification.

We do not certify anyone in a method, and there is nothing to renew next year.

A Retainer.

There is no ongoing arrangement sold on the way out. If the team can run it again without us, the engagement worked.

Questions

The Usual Ones.

Why Is The Price Not On A Rate Card?
It mostly is. A one day workshop for up to twelve people starts at $7,500, and the variables that move it are listed above. What we cannot do is quote the build time before hearing what the team negotiates, which is why the final number comes after a short conversation rather than from a form.
How Does That Compare To Sending People On A Course?
A public seminar seat is usually a few thousand dollars per person, so a team of eight or twelve reaches the same money quickly. The difference is not really the arithmetic. People sent one at a time come back with notes, and a team that did it together comes back with a shared way of talking about it.
Is There A Minimum?
Yes. The work is built for a group in a room, so there is no single-seat option and no individual rate. If what you need is help for one person, we are the wrong firm and will say so early.
When Do We Get A Number?
The same day you tell us the group size and a sentence about what they negotiate. A fixed quote, not a range that moves later.

Change Starts With A Conversation.

Tell us what is happening. We’ll tell you whether we can help, and say so plainly if we cannot.

Most of what we do starts with one sentence about something that is not working. You do not need a brief.
